　　通过近半个学期的学习和阅读，从中我有了深刻的感悟和理解。整部小说的体材来自于一个真实而又感人的故事：一位居住在墨西哥靠打渔为生的老人，一如既往的独自出海打渔。本以为又是空手而归，但却出乎意料的钓到了一条大鱼，老人喜出望外！因为这是他近几周头一回儿打到大鱼，而且这条大鱼大的超出了老人的想象于是他便将鱼头和上半身分别绑在小船的侧边上，准备返航，可不幸的是他在半路上遇到了成群的鲨鱼，老人只好使出浑身解数和鲨鱼搏斗，但老人还是敌不过数量庞大的鲨鱼。尽管鲨鱼把能吃掉的一点也没剩，只留下了鱼骨和鱼鱼头，但却还有八百磅左右重！

　　作者海明威以这个故事为原型的基础上再加以修饰；进行了更为细致的描写和刻画，塑造了桑提阿果谢谢这样一个普普通通通而又可敬的.的劳动者的形象！

　　这位老人不被任何困难所压服，尽自己最大的努力与生活中的道道难关和数不清的挫折做不屈不挠的斗争。他曾经说过这样一句让读者们印象最为深刻的一句话：一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你进可以消灭他，却不能打败他。而正是这种永不言败的硬骨头精神贯穿在《老人与海》股市的始终。它所包含的深刻哲理值得读者的细细咀嚼，耐人寻味！

　　如果我们连一个家境贫困，甚是卑微，条件艰苦，生活困难的考天天独自出海打渔的普通农民都比不上的话！还有什么资格去到处张扬、永不言败呢！
