　　今天下午，老师来到教室对大家说：“XXX(儿子名字)同学的日记写得非常精彩，我给你们朗读一下。”我一听，心里乐开了花。

　　This afternoon, the teacher came to the classroom and said, "the diary of XXX (son's name) is very wonderful. Let me read it to you." When I heard it, my heart was happy.

　　放学回到家，我把这件事告诉了妈妈。妈妈说：“我真替你高兴，但是千万不要骄傲。”我觉得妈妈说得很有道理，我以后要读更多的书，把作文写得更好。

　　When I came home from school, I told my mother about it. Mom said, "I'm so happy for you, but don't be proud." I think my mother is right. I will read more books and write better compositions in the future.
